What is the Teachers Exploring: C1?
This is a language development course that aims at developing your language skills and further raising language awareness in order for you to feel more confident in your teaching practice.
In three semesters, not only will you consolidate your advanced level skills, but you will also get familiarized with the tasks from the Cambridge C1 Advanced exam. You’ll get in touch with the parts of the test and experience more challenging and complex exercises as you progress.

Course details and groups
Teachers Exploring: C1
27 hours per semester
an 80-hour 3-semester course
*The course can be extended to four semesters. Some Explorers might need this 4th semester in order to feel ready to go to the next level or to sit the Cambridge exam.
All classes are recorded and made available in the Notion page of the group. The order of the content seen in the course varies from group to group, but the full course will cover the entire program regardless of the order it is presented.
New groups are formed with a minimum of 3 students.
Couse fees for ONE semester (1/2025)
6x R$ 425,00 (for enrollments in January)

Course materials
Objective Advanced – Student’s Book with answers, 4th edition.
Book not included in the course fee.
Extra materials will be provided by the teacher.
Requirements
- A computer with high-speed internet connection and a webcam
- C1 level of English
Daniela Lorenzo has been in ELT since 2010 as an English teacher, Cambridge English tutor and teacher trainer. She has a licentiate degree in Languages (Portuguese and English) and a specialization certificate in Educational Psychology. She also holds the TESOL and TEYL certificates by Anaheim University as well as the CPE, TKT I, II and III, CELTA and Train the Trainer certificates by Cambridge English. She is a Cambridge Assessment Specialist and her school, Explore Your English, is a Cambridge Exam Preparation Center.
Aline Kanashiro has been teaching English for over 16 years. She holds a degree in Translation and Interpreting (English-Portuguese) and is specialized in Audiovisual Translation (EN-PT). She is certified by Anaheim University (TESOL and TEYL) and Cambridge English, both for her language skills (CPE) and her teaching skills (TKT modules I, II and III, CELTA and Train the Trainer). She has worked as a Cambridge invigilator and as a Cambridge Assessment Specialist for several years.
Anne Xavier has been a teacher for 10 years, teaching from A1 to C1 students and has experience as a pedagogical coordinator. She holds a degree in languages (English) and International Relations. She also holds the CAE and TKT modules II and III by Cambridge English. She is currently preparing herself for the C2 Proficiency exam.
